KIKKA PHANTOM WINGS SERIES
Wings born to fight, but never sent to battle.

In the final days of World War II, influenced by Germany's jet aircraft (Me262), Japan developed its first jet aircraft, the "Kikka," with an original design.
Its existence, while at the forefront of its era, never saw combat and remained a "phantom wing" until the end of the war, making it a fitting subject for this series.

This work, inspired by the Kikka, combines the austere beauty of a military aircraft with
the human ingenuity, aspirations, and memories embodied within it, all captured in a single design.

The chest features a "JET GENESIS" print, while the back displays a bold graphic of the aircraft,
with captions detailing its specifications and historical narrative.

This design is not merely decorative, but an expression of the idea of "wearing history."
This garment is a product that connects the past and the present, encapsulating an imagined future that never came to be.
