Cintamani-chakra Avalokiteshvara (Nyoirin Kannon Bosatsu)

Cintamani-chakra Avalokiteshvara has been revered since ancient times as the "Bodhisattva of Compassion who transforms the confusion of sentient beings in the six realms of existence into wisdom and guides their wishes onto the right path."

Rather than offering a one-time salvation, this figure has been depicted and worshipped as an entity that affirms the very time spent facing one's struggles, guiding one's consciousness toward the right direction.

In this piece,
the meditative posture with a hand resting on the cheek is placed at the center, with heart motifs arranged geometrically within the halo.
The halo is designed with emotions such as compassion and love in mind.

The composition, which evokes a four-leaf clover, symbolizes happiness and harmony while also reflecting a modern sense of aesthetic balance.

Additionally, the left side of the chest features a design that combines the sacred wheel (Hōrin), one of the symbols of Cintamani-chakra Avalokiteshvara, with a Sanskrit character.

Rather than simply reproducing religious iconography, this is a heartfelt work that extracts its philosophy and form, redefining it into a visual that can be incorporated into everyday life.

I hope this sentiment reaches you.
