Originally, Kurikara Ryuo is depicted coiling around a treasured sword. However, for this work, we emphasized the marriage with Fudo Myoo, portraying Fudo Myoo as always ready to wield the Kurikara Ryuo Sword to instantly sever worldly desires and delusions.

The Kurikara Ryuo, positioned on his back, is known as a black dragon, and its scales are said to represent the universe. Inspired by this mystical legend, the color version features a subtle starlit sky on the dragon's scales, expressing the infinitely expanding universe.

Kurikara Fudo Myoo stands amidst the blazing halo of flames.

In life, there are moments when we must face challenges head-on, without avoidance.

I created this work with the hope that it might offer comfort to someone's heart during such times.
