Manjushri Bodhisattva, revered since ancient times as the bodhisattva who governs wisdom.

With a sword of wisdom in his right hand to cut through worldly desires and delusions, and a lotus in his left hand containing scriptures that expound truth, his form symbolizes not just knowledge, but also the "wisdom" to navigate life correctly.

This work powerfully depicts the spiritual beast, a lion, on which Manjushri Bodhisattva rides. The lion represents courage and dignity, and at the same time expresses that wisdom is the power to overcome all fears and delusions.

Behind him, a halo of lotus arabesque with seven Buddhas is boldly composed.
The endlessly expanding world of wisdom is depicted by blending the ornamental qualities of Japanese painting with modern design.

The sea of clouds enveloping his feet represents a tranquil state transcending the mundane world, creating a piece where dignity and dynamism coexist.

In the colored version, the golden halo and soft coloring express Manjushri Bodhisattva's compassion, wisdom, and pure essence.
