"Kaguya-hime," depicted in Japan's oldest tale, "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter," and "Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto," who has been spoken of as the ruler of the moon since ancient times.
These two beings are reinterpreted through the shared symbol of the "moon" and depicted in SOW INOUE's unique worldview in "Tsukuyomi no Kaguya-hime."

The reddish-bronze moon floating behind her symbolizes the boundary between the two worlds: Earth and the Moon.
At the feet of the princess, clad in a juni-hitoe, golden dragon clouds are arranged, representing her as a celestial being.

And symbolizing this work is the **"Earth"** that the princess carefully holds in both hands.
Her destiny to return to the moon, and her feelings for the people on Earth. The love and memories that will never be lost, no matter how far apart, are embodied in her embrace of the Earth.

The front features the simple, quietly placed text **"KAGUYA / THE SILENT MOON."**
Emphasis was placed on balancing this with the impact of the back.
This is another story of "Kaguya-hime," reflecting on Earth from the moon.
