Kikka / KIKKA PHANTOM WINGS SERIES
Wings born to fight, but never released into battle.

In the final stages of World War II, Japan's first jet aircraft, the "Kikka," was developed with an original design, influenced by German jet aircraft (Me262).
Its existence, at the forefront of its era, but never deployed in combat, makes it a fitting aircraft for the "Phantom Wings" series.

This work uses the Kikka as its motif, blending the beauty of inorganic military aircraft with
the human technology, aspirations, and memories embedded within it, into a single design.

The front features a "JET GENESIS" print, while the back showcases a bold graphic of the aircraft,
with captions detailing the data and historical story associated with the aircraft.

It was designed not merely as decoration, but with the ideological expression of "wearing history."
This garment is a product that connects the past and the present, embodying imagination for a future that never was.
